We are looking for a typical cuisine linked to healthy eating, which is reflected in the quality of the raw materials used.
From fine meats from local farms, to vegetables that come from farms in the Piceno area, to fish from the fish market in nearby San Benedetto del Tronto.
The restaurant is also a reference point for food and wine tourism.
With its cuisine rich in tradition and taste, it is happy to welcome and delight tourists, and not only, in search of the authentic flavors of the area.
BANQUETS AND CEREMONIES
The San Giacomo restaurant has a large internal room - recently renovated - and a terrace from which you can admire a breathtaking view.
Having a capacity of more than one hundred seats, the restaurant is suitable for organizing ceremonies and banquets, but also business lunches and dinners, graduation and birthday parties.
In particular, on the occasion of a wedding reception it is possible to give guests the experience of a "Wedding in the Borgo", setting up extraordinary entertainment buffets in the squares or churches ,no longer used for the cult ,of Monteprandone, waiting for the arrival of the spouses.
CUISINE OF THE SOUL
Ermetina Mira - owner and chef of the San Giacomo restaurant - is the creator of "La Cucina dello Spirito".
An exhibition dedicated to food and wine and the monastic tradition, inspired by the figure of San Giacomo della Marca originally from Monteprandone.
The event proposes every year three cycles of events linked to three periods: Lent, San Martino and Christmas.
In conjunction with these periods, themed dinners are organized, during which ancient recipes of the monastic tradition and a historical handbook are proposed.
